My Story
Dr. Jennifer Gray, MD - Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine

As a Doctor of Internal Medicine, I am deeply committed to building strong relationships with my patients and delivering high-quality, compassionate medical care. My practice focuses on preventative healthcare, perimenopause care, and mental health and wellness, with the goal of empowering individuals to take charge of their health and live their best lives.

Originally from the Midwest, I grew up in Portugal, Ohio, and Texas, which has given me a unique perspective on people and communities. I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. I then pursued my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado, where I honed my clinical skills and developed a deep passion for holistic patient care.

After 15 + years of practicing in a traditional medicine setting, I’ve decided to transition to Direct Primary Care (DPC) because I believe it offers a more personalized, patient-centered approach to healthcare. In the traditional model, I found that the pressure of insurance paperwork, time constraints, and high patient volumes often limited my ability to provide the level of care I truly wanted for my patients. DPC allows me to build deeper, more meaningful relationships with those I care for, offering longer appointments, more accessibility, and a focus on preventative care without the barriers created by insurance companies and corporate organizations.

This transition is about returning to the core of what drew me to medicine in the first place — providing individualized, compassionate care that is accessible, transparent, and focused entirely on the well-being of my patients.
Outside of medicine, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring new places. I’m blessed with a wonderful husband, three energetic kids, and a wild Australian Shepherd who keeps us all on our toes.
In my practice, I’m dedicated to providing personalized care that not only addresses your medical needs but also supports your mental and emotional well-being. I believe in listening to my patients, understanding their concerns, and working together to find the best approach to achieving optimal health.
